The history and beginning of activity of «JSC Astra» goes back as far as seventy years.
In August, 1977 the decision of executive committee of Moscow's city council of deputies organized trust of dining rooms of the Sevastopol area. As a part of trust of dining rooms there was a numerous number of catering establishments of various types: restaurants, cafe, bars, dining rooms of open type, school and basic dining rooms, dining rooms on service of working plants and factories, snackbars and a wide specialized network of objects of public catering (shashlik houses, dumpling bars, bakeries, pancake houses, bars).
On May 29, 1990 a conference of labor staff of the trust makes a decision to switch to rent relations with the production and trade association "Mosobshchepit" and to transform trust of dining rooms to a commercial real-estate enterprise «Astra».
The commercial real-estate enterprise began to operate on the principles of self-financing, to provide increase in the standard of living of members of the collective and their families at the expense of the income, to solve social problems.
On December 18, 1991 the Committee on management of property of Moscow made the decision that our enterprise is subject to privatization and granted us the right to act as the recognized buyer.
The commission on privatization of the Southwest district made a decision on September 10, 1992 to privatize property in an organizational and legal form – Joint-stock company of open type (OJSC Astra).
According to the Federal law "About joint-stock companies" OJSC Astra was transformed to open joint stock company (JSC Astra).
On June 18, 1996 the Committee on management of property of Moscow agreed to privatization of the property rented out to «JSC Astra».
Primary activity – renting of commercial real estate.
Our tenants are generally engaged in servicing the population of the Southwest district of Moscow.
In the sphere of public catering “Yakitoriya”, “Cyprus Tavern” and “Uryuk cafe” restaurants function.
Realization of food and industrial goods is carried out by the retail trade enterprises located near the subway "Novie Cheryomushki", "Kakhovskaya", "Profsauznaya".
The enterprises located on Sevastopolsky Avenue, Kerchenskaya Street and Profsauznaya street specialize as the cultural, trade and recreational centers.
«JSC Astra» constantly accepts a fate in the charitable events held by the city, the district and justices of areas. We give financial help in improvement of territories, preparation and carrying out festive actions, and also we allocate funds for improvement of activity of orthodox churches and temples.
The office is located on Fruktovaya Street, in the area of "Zyuzino" of the Southwest administrative district of Moscow.
